U/B evergreen contest!
So I was looking on mtgsalvation the other day, and I came across a thread that was about finding a blue-black evergreen* creature keyword. You can guess the contest.
Rules:
1) NO EVASION!!! (that's "can't be blocked", or "can't be blocked except by THING" NO NO NO NO! blue has flying and pure unblockability and black has menace and flying! NO EVASION!
2) Make it simple enough for new players.
3) No milling either, although it's fitting, I want something combat related.
I won't judge this one, it's for fun. I will favorite all non-joke entries, as always.
*An evergreen keyword is a keyword that appears in every set, such as flying, trample, haste, and destroy.
Have fun!

Unsackable and Unexploitable are both entrys
With that, I give you the evergreen keyword ability "Deceiving"

This 1/2 deceiving for 2 mana would:
Neither kill nor be killed by a 0/2, 0/3, 1/3, 2/3, 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, anything else <=3 / >=4
Kill a 1/2, 2/2, 3/2, or 3/3
Kill and be killed by a 4/3, 5/4, 6/4, 7/5, etc.
Be killed by a 4/4, 4/5, 5/5, 5/6, etc.
It's pretty strong overall, but on par with some aggro staples. It fittingly punishes those big powers while not being too aggro itself in dealing lots of damage to players. It also interacts in very interesting ways with many other combat mechanics: first strike, deathtouch, wither, protection. Overall, I'm really happy with it!

Acolyte of Mortality, easy five drop with three very useful abilities and a typical undead bruiser that fits the theme of both being an evergreen and the theme of a lich, having menace as a form of "Magic ability" along with hexproof.
Read the original post again, you missed a fairly crucial part
Try once more, I'm sure you'll get it right now !
For real though. It's a contest about inventing a _new UB evergreen keyword_ not about making vanilla creatures.
Also, I was playing around with this keyword, but I also don't think it's quite right. I'll be making one more

PS, how badass is that art? It's the Poe Collector from Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Really tricky challenge. In the end it's just a mash up of Duskmantle Guildmage and prowess to make it synergise with mill and discard effects.

My entry owes more than a little to its predecessor, but I wanted to balance the ability to make it more fitting across all rarity levels.
The inclusion of an "intimidate" ability is to demonstrate the applications of the Subvert ability within the U/B flavor.

*Had to remake it a third time to correct rarity from 'Common' to 'Uncommon'.

This effect is more blue than black, but whatever, the color pie in magic always evolves.
My take on the idea... Couldn't resist sharing it...

To redirect that dimir mill towards itself.
Daze (Whenever this deals damage to a creature, tap that creature and it doesn't untap during its controller's next untap step.)
