Here's a thing.
@ErrorIam: I'd say Mist Creature's a little overpowered for its mana cost. Getting a 3/2 with a creature type of your choice (for the most part) is a lot for 2 mana.
@dudedaniel: Interesting concept, but the flavor behind that concept is more blue than red. Here's my version of something like that:
{X}{u}{u}
This creature enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it. If this creature were to die, return it to its owner's hand instead.
@Gafratt01: That card's nice and balanced for the most part. I'd word Limbo differently, though. Maybe it enters the battlefield at the beginning of your next turn?

I think it is interesting, but ultimately overpowered in a multiplayer game where you can pay 3cmc to give yourself and a teammate each a 3/3 creature, with protection, plus added ability. And all of this at instant-speed?
Also, I wish the art didn't have that blue rectangle in the bottom-right corner.
I do think the name is cool, and I think there is a neat concept here, but the card seems a bit strong. If the cost was 5cmc, I think it would be more reasonable.
@TurkeyAsylum, Journey Through Ithinstrya is an interesting kill spell. 1cmc to kill a creature of toughess 2 or less? Cool. But 1cmc to put a single +1/+1 counter on a creature? That seems weak. Care to elaborate on how you intend the card to be used?

Expel is in my opinion a fairly balanced card. I like how you can play it to remove a creature or a planeswalker, which is especially nice since there isn't much planeswalker removal out there. The idea of being able to get rid of all cards that share a name with them makes the card deserving of being rare and has a really powerful effect against the right deck *cough cough Relentless Rats*. The things that ultimately balance it out are the sorcery speed and the two different colors of mana required to cast it. Well done!
