I guess it doesn't have to be evasive perse, but I don't really like spirits without evasion. It's kinda like capitalizing custom mechanics in the middle of a sentence--it's not necessary, but I don't feel right if I don't do it.
@NokiSkaur I think that you could look at it a little differently since they look more corporeal and as such more like living corpses/skeletons. In addition, they look like they'd walk even if they can fly given their appearance.
@glasletter I plan on making Transcendence a keyword ability that revolves around ten. It costs ten to activate, and on this card it reveals the top ten cards of your library. I didn't want the creature to be legendary because a "Pay four mana: Brainstorm plus 1 card" just seemed way too powerful in it's colors. I might just make it a 2/3, but because of how mana intensive it is and that it Isn't splashable I think justifies it being a 3/4.
With those thoughts in mind, what do you think? Still the same? I plan on putting it into MSE or Untap.in to test it out as a card.
Here's the next iteration of my Transcendence cycle. I feel like this one is Much stronger than the Temur one, so I set it at 5 mana instead of 3, any thoughts?
@Faiths_Guide I like the green and blue ones, but the others feel less impacting. Which makes it hard to justify putting red into the deck. Aside from that, it'd be cool to see the piper be 2/2 or stronger to increase play-ability.
Either way, we think you did a great job with the creature type!
Well, looking at this with the fact it's a common, It's an extremely good card at 3 mana. If it was rare, maaaybe even uncommon, you can drop paying one to activate it, or make it 2 mana.
@Stormtide I love the card but I really feel like this is just a "keyword soup" card. However, being a 6 mana 4/4 makes it good. I'm happy you didn't make it mythic rare or it'd feel out of place.
@TenebrisNemo Interesting design, definitely unique. I could honestly see it being underpowered, or overpowered, but without having tested it, it looks good.
@Sullyman I'll admit, it is keyword soup, but It is completely in color and I feel it would play well. And they do keyword soup creatures every once in awhile (see Akroma), and I've seen the occasional ask on Blogatog for more, so I figured some people like them
@Gelectrode Feels a little bit too hard to connect using each ability. Which makes it feel like an under-powered deathtouch creature and not like a legendary.
@modnation675 The ability is quite avoidable for the opponent. The opponent doesn't have to block. They can just take 2 damage to ignore the ability and also, this card is easily vulnerable to removal.

Why does it need to be evasive? Besides, skulk isn't evergreen as you mentioned.

Yeah, one of the reasons I didn't give them flying is because it wouldn't make sense with the art.

Made this one a while ago as an example for a contest I hosted, but I've always liked it alot. Anyone got any ideas?

Thank you! Presiding Narrator could be modified and end up mono-blue and I have another piece of art depicting a many masked performer
However, I have a feeling red would get in on a performance somehow.
I can't tell if this is too expensive or not. If anything, it's probably too cheap. Any thoughts?

Would it be helpful if I dropped discarding and changed the ability to 'Draw a card, then discard a card at random'?
Thoughts?

@Gelectrode That card is absolutely amazing, and the flavor text is super
The trample was a bit of a stretch since it's only tertiary in blue, but it seems worth it. What do you think?
Given the low stats and the supporting theme, I think it's reasonable.
Otherwise, it's a really well made card

I really like Woods of Takama! Maybe make the third ability {1} less?
Thoughts?

Jester's Cap is a sweet and spicy card so I made a twist on it in the form of a creature.
I like the card a lot. It's just too easy to trigger for its power level.
Edit: It could also use a class sub-type and flavor text.
Yes, I can respect that idea. The other feedback still stands though.
