Discussion of this card's mechanics.

I made this awhile a go and just realized, does this mean:
A. You get to cast the spell twice, once from hand, once from exile
B. You can cast the spell infinite times, once from hand, infinite from exile
C. It never resolves because you keep exiling it while it's on the stack.

Comments

  • B and C.

Because the first part is not narrowed by stating, from hand or any other zone, it applies to all sorcery and instant cards you cast. And since the second part declares the spells to be cast, meaning you need to pay the costs, it will trigger the creatures ability all over again.

I think the second part should have the keyword broken. Ha ha.

Either define "Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell from hand..." or create a separate cost for spells you own in exile and allow them to be played for that cost instead of their mana cost.

I think those are two easy ways to remedy zee situation.
  • So should I right "whenever a spell you control resolves" (or something a long those lines) as well? Or just say "cast from your hand"
  • @Suicidal_Deity, I am glad you looked at the card. I checked it out before reading your comment, and my response would have been much less clear than yours. Nicely done, mate!
