Made this for the Manlands challenge a long while back, but it wasn't a Manland due to Token restrictions. I wanted it to become Gray Sparrow and create Bladecross, but it didn't work out like that. The flavor is a bit strange, but I'm still proud of how it turned out.
It's time to announce the winners! Winning cards aren't so balanced well (imo) this time. I didn't have so many entries, and I couldn't pick three cards that I think they're almost perfect as winning cards. But the cards are all very interesting and enjoyable to see! ----------------- Honorable mentions
"Bladecross Grave" by @CrucibleOfHate http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/bladecross-grave?list=user ^It would depend on the set, but usually, lands are very difficult permanents to deal with. That mechanic is a bit too powerful for being operated by a land. Even the token is a legendary, you can always keep one as long as the land is on the battlefield. But the flavor is super cool! It's like a important scene of a hero story.
"Tales of the Traitor" by @kkarn http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/tales-of-the-traitor?list=user ^Very enjoyable concept! But the card is a bit weak for a 5 drop mythic. The mechanic is not difficult to deal with. And the token doesn't need to be a legendary because it's only produced once.
"Jangle, the Insufferable" by @Syrix http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/jangle-the-insufferable-1?list=user ^I love the art and flavor! Also, thanks for making a card that produces non-creature legendary token! But the token is very powerful. Since it is an enchantment, it's not easy to destroy it. And if you can't destroy it, your creatures are sealed in your hand. If this was my card, I might add vanishing on the token.
-------------------------------------------- - 5th place "Conscience Manifestation" by @dibbydubsdubs http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/conscience-manifestation?list=user ^Very fun finisher in UB control deck! I also like the powerful art! However, there's not so very big point in making it a sorcery. Off course there's a difference, but I think it could simply be a legendary creature. Still cool tho!
- 4th place "Salvage Vat" by @Gelectrode http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/salvage-vat?list=user I love imprint! But it feels a bit weird when I imagine legendary creatures are produced by Vats in the Simic laboratory or something. Hahaha! But the biggest reason it didn't get in to the top 3 is because you didn't put a name on the token. It is very important thing that makes a big difference on the mechanic.. I think I should have let you know. Sorry!
- 3rd place! "Amicus, Slayer of the Vast" by @Mobin http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/amicus-slayer-of-the-vast-1?list=user ^I have to say, it is overpowered. But what I really like about this is that the token really looks like a partner of his master! One of the few entries that have a interaction between the token and the card. But unfortunately, it was a bit off from color wheel.
- 2nd place!! "Swamp Genesis" by @Cond43 http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/swamp-genesis-1?list=user ^The card won 2nd place by its mechanic. I want to see how the card works in real game! It seems powerful because it is an enchantment, but I think it's not that broken level.
- 1st place!!! "Alya, angel of friendship" by @jjo04 http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/alya-angel-of-friendship-2?list=user ^First let me address the beautiful art! It really looks like the angel is summoning the token! Nice! Wave mechanic is very intriguing. I'd definitely like to see more iterations and/or applications of it. But the token is very powerful, and I'm not sure it is balanced or not. I would go +1/+1 instead of +2/+1. But still cool card! Congrats!

Thanks for your entries everyone! I really enjoyed this a lot!
I'm willing to help you if you want to fix your cards to make it more balanced. So feel free to contact me. If you make a new version, I'll move a TROPHY from the old to the new one.

^Same reason as CrucibleOfHate's card. But the cost is high, so it won't be used in standard, I think. But it will be a too much threat in Multiplayer or EDH.
