This is one like SuicidalDeity's Flavor Challenge.
i.e. No deadline; it's a challenge, not a contest. Think of it as an Exercise.
This is meant to provide a gathering place for appreciators of top-down design, as well as a binder / community gallery of sorts of top-down card design.
Feel free to use this page as a general discussion of top-down design, and not only card posts.

Here is one I recently made.

Infected Voodoo Doll

I took the image and built the card around it.
When you stick a pin in the voodoo doll, it causes pain to the intended victim. If you stick the doll with enough pins it will eventually kill the victim.
Those are the mechanics. Paying mana and tapping signifies the targeting and the counters on the creature are the pins.
Then I added flavor to explain how this artifact came about and also a tidbit of information as to what became of the ones who made it.
