Indeed! So, anyway, I'm official keywording "Transmogoyf" and "Judge factor (1-4)". I personally like "Don't want to get it" a lot. Describes a lot of situations I've seen on here... well, in life in general, hah.
I'm very honored you feel this way and I can absolutely say that the sentiment is echoed loudly.
People around me always tell me I should consider studying Law or go into politics, haha. Though I'd rather sit on cacti than subject myself to a life dedicated to power plays and long work hours
And last, but not least, I do hope more people will enter too! I do put a lot of effort into it, but do so gladly, knowing that the people who participate (and help things along) feel like they are getting something out of it, such as @Faiths_Guide has expressed several times. I am happy to make the contests even if only a few, or a lot, of people enter. I'm going to sound melodramatic, but as long as I know that one person found themselves feeling even the tiniest bit better at (magic) at the end of day because of their involvement in the contests, I am satisfied.
I look forward to what your keywords shall spring forth.
I am told I should have been a lawyer too, all the time. Usually for negative reasons, though I don't perceive them as such. Politics requires a certain level of charismatic lying that I don't know I possess, so I think that avenue would be better left not ventured.
And I've said it before;
"Those who don't think themselves worthy of praise, are usually more deserving of it."
You would've actually stood a better chance if you had omitted requital from the card I know it sucks to hear now, but I try not to lead people in too specific directions when I comment from a judging position. Requital is just quite shaky... very, very few creatures in magic are actually capable of doing five damage by itself in a single turn. Relative to the amounts of creatures in magic in total, that is. Requital is one of those mechanics that I personally feel cannot stand alone, because it fears being misunderstood, you know? I don't know if you played during Shards of Alara, but Here is a link explaining the 5-power-matters that was theme of Naya in the block. If someone made a card like that, I would have to ask how often that was going to be triggered in the overall scope of things, and the answer would be "not often". However, the Alara block had a lot of creatures geared to doing exactly this. Your card, however, stands... un-supported, I guess, which hurts it. And yes, that is the nature of the contest. So don't get me wrong; Requital is not bad. It was not uninteresting. It just didn't fit the contest because it provokes a "Why are you only being really vengeful if you were deal 25% of your life?"-question. Be vengeful all the time, damnit! Incidentally, itt was the thing that seperated the 2nd place from the 1st place :P
Custom _keywords_ and _ability words_ are a fickle thing, as they often require perspective to be understood, and this contest didn't allow for that perspective to be built.
I wish I could've mentioned where each entry that didn't make top four fell short in terms of the contest, but then the honorable mentions text would be much, much longer than the actual winners announcement, haha.

Keep up the good work.

I hope you are still motivated to participate !
