Hyperbase Block
Welcome to my first ride here on MTG Cardsmith. Started in Jan. 2015, this set is my first attempt at a set, but not a true one. This set is meant to face itself. Here's the "storyline":
Enter the Hyperbase (cards from this expansion are represented by gears, and are my oldest unmoved cards.):
Joseph (me) has recently became owner of a mysterious plane known as the Hyperplane. This plane has a few planets, but its main area is known as the Hyperbase, a futuristic "space station" the size of several planets, put under the rule of a single "enforcer". Joseph just so happens to be the owner of it, and settles in fairly quickly. His newfound peace is short lived, when he finds that the plane is under attack! He assembles brave warriors known as "defenders", whom have lended their aid in his several calls for assistance. Together with his defenders, he readies his army for the incoming forces, but what he doesn't know is that the problem is already within the Hyperbase...
Hyperbase Invaders (cards from this expansion are represented by the shield and axes. This expansion is small, and contains a decent amount of remade cards from my contests, as well as remakes of cards I made in 2014 and 2013.):
The invaders, as well as a group of "rebels", have reached the main cities of the Hyperbase! Joseph's army attacks, but the rebel army is slowly growing is size! Alan Maxis is now fighting against Joseph with no just reasoning, and the Hyperbase is starting to crumble! A terrorist attack is launched on Faciliti, the main city of the Hyperbase, crippling Joseph's main forces. Soon though, Joseph abandons the Hyperbase and heads for Earthrealm, where supposedly, Earth is under heavy attack...
Earhrealm's Stand (cards from this expansion are represented by the Commander symbol. I have just begun making these cards. This expansion is a transition between the Hyperbase set and the Earthrealm set.):
Joseph arrives at Earthrealm, the plane he was born on, to aid a wartorn Earth. Civil war, as well as seemingly apocalyptic conditions caused by dragons and mages, have made Earth unstable. Joseph hopes there is enough time left to save the Earth, but he fears it may be too late... will Earthrealm be saved, or will Joseph have to leave it to its own devices?
