Welcome to the Saving Tommia card submission page. This is where you can share your creations to support my collaborative set! I often have an imbalance of cards in my set, and I'd like to prevent it this time! Here's the rules for making cards:
- Try to avoid using your own mechanics unless they aren't specific to a faction, color, or set of colors.
- Try not to use too many non-evergreen keywords and abilities. Use them as you wish, but I don't want a repeat of last time where I had 50 something mechanics!
- Your card does not have to be faction based, but if it is, avoid using mechanics from a different faction.
- Your card needs to be balanced. No need for a one mana 20/20 keyword soup.
- Don't just make rares and mythics. I had too many of those last time.
- You don't have to consider possible interference with cards from outside this set. For instance, don't fret that an MTG card and one of your cards might create an infinite loop.
- There is no limit as to how many cards you can make, but limit your entries to three a week, and make sure I haven't asked people to temporarily stop sending me requests (to prevent overflow.).
- Avoid making cards with real people or non-fitting fictional characters for my set. Last thing I need is Tommia to be taken over by an army of John Cenas or for everyone to get rekt by Deadpool.
- Cards must at least be serious enough to be in a real MTG set. Don't think they'd approve a LOLCat, or a card that would allow you to destroy target player, but jokes and such are allowed.
- Do not make proxies for my set. You can make better versions of old cards, though, but make sure to change it up enough to make it a different card!
- Only submit cards you own. No anonymous entries, either!
- Plx use propor grammor n sintax.
- Don't worry if yoy you mess up. I can fix mistakes.
- By putting cards on this page you agree to allow me to remake those cards, at my sole discretion, for my set. You also give me the right to make any changes to the card that I feel necessary. Obviously I'll credit you, though!
- Do not ask for the set password.
- See below for the factions and their mechanics.
