Indefinite Hiatus (Trying to Get Motivated)
School's out, and there's never been a more opportune time to make MTG Cardsmith cards! Sadly, I haven't been able to...
Recently, I've been met with a limbo of a schedule, being uncertain of what things will be like. Sometimes, I come on, make a couple cards, and lose interest. Other times I lose interest before I make it on. Sometimes, I plan on getting on, but there ends up being an unscheduled event that takes up my time (this has happened more often since I've finished this school year.) Lately, I've sort of lost my motivation to make cards due to the uncertainty of if I'll get interrupted (be it by someone else or by my own swaying interests), or if I'll ever get done (it takes longer than I thought to sit down and make cards [even if they're remakes!]), especially since I've vowed to finish remaking cards from my last contest(s?) before I continue making my own cards and making contests, but that's what's made MTG Cardsmith entertaining to me: Making my own cards (and receiving positive feedback and criticism) and interacting with other users. Anyone else experienced this (or something similar)? If so, how have you dealt with it?\
Also, to those who participated in my last contests (Embodiment of a Song and Hodgepodge), I am sorry if your cards haven't been remade yet, and thanks in advance for understanding the reasons behind this delay. Don't worry! Virtually all of the cards will be remade!

I like remakes
What I can tell you is that the main source of the will to do something comes from the feedback you receive. If you get positive or negative critique on the things you are working on, it fills you with the urge to do new stuff. I recommend that if you don't feel like doing all the remakes, you can always make some original cards in the interlude.
And the unexpected events in your life? Unexpected things are always stupid. But don't be upset about them, because the site isn't running away. You can always return when you have the time and start where you last finished.
