  Here's my first submission. I flavored Consin as a powerful mage who has discovered what caused the mage rings to shut down and is using that mana for himself. He's a tad crazy though, which makes reading his mind for specifics on the mage rings very difficult. Feel free to adapt the concept to something else you had in mind for the story if you want. You could even put this effect on a legendary enchantment if you didn't have a character you wanted to put it on.

  @tacobandit, sorry mate but this competition was finished a month ago but the judge hasn't judged it yet. You might be ok though as he probably still has to look through all the submissions

  GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  Oh my gosh, everyone! I am so sorry!!! A lot of stuff has happened over the past few months (computer went kaput and I ended up having to move...), so I put a lot of stuff off so I could focus on RL. Yet, somehow, this completely fell off the map.
  I am so, so, so sorry to all entries for the delay, but I am judging this right now.
  Man this doesn't do much for credibility...
