  Epochaevon first can be cycled for an artifact land, and then you may cast it for 2 colorless from your graveyard as a face down Artifact. Turn it up any time for its salvage cost, and them if it dies any more times, instead exile it with 3 time counters and it gains suspend. If it is in exile, artifacts you control cost 2 colorless less.

  It does have an ability that restricts when it can enter the battlefield, so I thought it would count After all, when devotion is used this way it is basically a cost. You still have to pay for it in a round-about way by casting black permanents first. Devotion just means that you could pay it if you felt like it.

  @IanLowethal as in a written ability. Take Animist's carde above, Deathbred Barghest. It can only enter the battlefield after the cost is paid. I meant as a written ability, such as madness, awaken, aura swap, etc.

  @FblthpTheStormCrow Those are mechanics. An ability is where there's a sentence or two regarding the function of the card.
