Elves vs Myr
Every single one of my competitions have pretty much failed. I know it's because the first 2 were really hard, the third was confusing, and the forth was unrelated to magic. The last 2 were all too much Halo based. So here comes one solely based on magic.
In the 15th century AUL (After Urza's Legacy), a lone myr construct accidentally arrived on the desolate plane of Amina. It in turn started engineering other myr, mostly to build up the plane. The plane itself had been covered in a large ocean separating the top and the bottom, with the top being an icy desolate barren ground, perfect for building constructs. The myr created other powerful constructs, to build the myr empire and to conquer the south. The south, a green forest land was the home of the Ancillary remnant, the last of the Gruul Draz empire. The Ancillary Remnant had prepared many elves for battle, and they were all waiting for the fight.
Rules:
-Make either an green/black elf card or a colorless myr/construct card
-Must be balanced and fit with the story
-Must affect their own species positively or negatively
-Must be a new card
-If you can do flavor text, do it.
-Write a story to go with it. (Optional)
-Grading is like this - 60% Card Formatting, Balanceness, Matches with topic etc., 30% Art, 10% Flavor text and Story.

This elf grew up in the southern woods enjoying the nature all around him. He felt at one with his home and didn't really care for the little metal constructs, that appeared near his thorp. Since he never saw things like that, he was curious about the new arrivals, that soon turned out to be intruders and the vanguard for more and worse to come.
Despite their small size, the constructs were vicious figters that became harder and harder to stop. His anger and mistrust grew, but his curiosity stayed the same. He started to collect all broken myr, he could find to see, how they were build He wanted to find out, how they could be stopped, as long as only few of them found their way into the woods.
He learned much and fast (for an elf) and started to build armor and other artifacts, combining his new knowledge with the old elven traditions. The best, he came up with since then is an armor, made of the melted down metal, the myr were made of. Together with various weapons and shields, it granted great protection from the constructs, the elfes still had to face much more often, than they wished for. Since the armor was made of several components, it could even be distributed to other elves, that didn't gain the full protection, but at least a small reinforcement for their fighting abilities and defense.
@RedRageMage, what do you mean old days? We all still play Dnd right?
