The flavor behind her is that she draws power from the god the merfolk worship(coming soon) and bestows it onto other merfolk in the Thunder River
The font is way too small, for no reason (there's space for a bigger one, and only the single spot will mark the place's location.)
Maybe a list with the names would add to the solution as well (Also contributing to mark places that have already been taken). Just a measure, for that map's pretty big and people seem to be claiming one place at a time.
It's located in the middle, but towards the bottom left.
