Lords and Nobles
How much longer can thy countries stand? The nobles rise, yet fear no god, ye do no good, neither shan't thy advisors. They devour thy citizens yet smite no evil.
Yeah... That was pretty bad poetry...
So... Here is the story:
In year 724 AUL, the whole royal blood line had ended, after the king and his 3 sons perished in the Great Winter Plague, also known as the Cold Sickness, due to the fact that the plague would affect a man, and make its blood not be able to regulate heat, therefore freezing a man to death. As a new line of rule, they decided to go for DEMOCRACY!!! And that ended with the winner of the election assassinated, the other candidates imprisoned, and the host of the election was executed after a conspiracy revealed him taking over 1000 gold coins worth of bribes. The pubic wasn't too happy with this. Instead, the High Priest said that to prevent any more, he would do a Hierarchy.
As long as the current goes, the Hierarchy is still in charge. But the council is not an honest one. The council of 24, the ruling group, along with the side advisors and lords, nobles and aristocrats, they all plot against friends, conspire against family, and ploy the downfall of all else.
Along with the other nobles, people formed their own mini-guilds, which were in short, political associations or parties:
The Banking Clan: A Guild of the political bankers and treasurers that manage the city's money. They include 5 of the council of many other lords.
The Heart of War: The main association of the army generals. They are not very patriotic and fight to build up their own army. They include 8 of the council and a few other lords, as they rely on soldiers for things.
Lords of the Sun God: This is a smaller group, a cult made up of false teachers and prophets, as they use religion for their purposes. They include 2 council members, all part of the church of the sun god.
The advisors of 4. These are the head of the council, mainly very influencing aristocrats, major lords, and/or princes from other lands.
The Priests of the Holy One: The main religion, yet they only believe in having 1 head priest, so unlike the Lords of the Sun God, they can only have one person in the council.
The Ring of Spies: Another group, led by 1 council memeber, and sorta rely on spy and blackmail for their purposes.
The Assassin's Guild: Although on the surface they are the embassy of a distant king, in reality, they are the secret guild of hired assassins to assassinate others. They are led by 2 council members.
The City Watch: The City Watch is led by 1 member and is in charge of defending the city's peace.
So...
For this contest, I want you to make a card based on one of these guilds, or another sort of political based card. You may enter up to 7 cards. Old cards are allowed, and make sure they are highly political (based on dethrone, voting...)
For examples, check out my set: http://mtgcardsmith.com/user/TrippleBoggey3/sets/12197
Note: They MUST appear good on the outside, but can transform into an assassin, a cultist, or have a bad (black) ability.
Note #2: NO MAGIC IS ALLOWED!!! NOT EVEN CONSTRUCTS!!!

BTW, don't you get distracted again whilst making cards
I don't know what you mean by getting distracted. Hold up a sec, there is a squirrel investigating my bird feeder.
for Advisors of 4. Lady Sa'a Yar is already a shadowy figure, and people knew it. The problem is, too many people are wrought with fear that they are unwilling to go full out war with her. Once you make an enemy of her, your world comes crumbling down, and you'll never trace it back to her.

And my last entry, something to do with the ring of spies:

Here's a really fun one. He basically sacrifices his subjects to protect himself, but uses dark ways to grow stronger from others' unwilling sacrifice
You are doing too many contests at once. The more contests you make, the less entries each contest gets. I actually interested in your contests, but I can't make so many cards in a day.
You've never done judging, but it is really hard and sometimes even painful. Before you open the next contest, please experience it. If you are trusted as a good judge, you'll get more entries. (I don't say I'm a good judge, but I'm always trying to be.)
And you don't decide the deadline. That also could be it. I make cards for the contest that deadline is close.
And please don't do "Due to the lack of entries, I will not give out awards. This contest is now closed." again. People put effort on cards to win! At least let them know who's card was best and why at that point.
I think this is really true. There are some cardsmiths whose challenges I will always try to enter and a few that I avoid, purely because of the judging.

That's why his father, a well known influential man made him join the ranks of the city watch. He guards and protects his son and tries to uplift the boys career, so the young hotblooded rookie might someday become a high member of towns militia.
The boy himself knows well about his wellprotected position and would even throw his comrades to the wolves to win a battle. Asides from that he loves spending time in the local taverns to drink, gamble and meet professional women. Many bet on what his future might bring; an untimely violent death or a career full of glory and success.
