@Mysterious_Gangsta http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/bounty-of-the-meek This is a really nice card (sort of a reverse Humility), and the art fits well. My only concern is that given how easy it is to create a bundle of 1/1 tokens (especially elves and soldiers), it's probably pretty severely undercosted. The artist is Christine Choi, by the way.
@DankSoulsRager http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/natures-calling-1 This probably wants to be an enchantment, rather than a sorcery. It's an interesting effect, but I'm not sure it has a big enough impact for its mana cost: it gives you a bunch of new mana rocks/elves to work with, but it gives just as many to your opponent. Of course, forestwalk is nice, as are forest-counting cards like Dungrove Elder. You could also use X spells to dump all your new mana somewhere productive.
@RohanDragoon http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/warding-flames Definitely a powerful effect, but well costed. Ultimately, it's a pretty niche 3-drop; it would definitely see play in EDH (where games are slower and countermagic more common), but in faster formats a 3-drop that doesn't do anything on its own is a risky bid at best.
@yousmelllikeapumpkin http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/mind-snare-2 Very cool, but very, very abusable. Imagine it in an illusion beatdown deck, or with Phyrexian Dreadnought or Death's Shadow. Removing all text from a card is just too strong an advantage when you can build around it.
@AlphaDelta http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/illiteracy Very elegant. It's probably going to be a one-sided boardwipe, but white has access to those from CMC 3-4 (Harsh Mercy, my old friend) and this is harder to build around anyway. Good thought with Wordy!
@opcode_6e http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/replicant-massacre Reverse Evil Twin! It's a boardwipe in colors that don't typically get them, but a little color pie bending here and there is fine. Great fit for a shapeshifter EDH deck (Lazav). The only thing I have is that 'is a copy of' isn't a feature of a card in and of itself; you'd need 'Destroy each creature that doesn't share a name with another."
@mrransom http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/ambush-bolt Super cute. Pretty underpowered, though. Spells that target many creatures are quite rare, and if you're using it on your own spell, a mass-damage X spell like Comet Storm or Sudden Demise would probably serve you better. Love the art, though.
@Biblio http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/stewie-griffin-4?list=set&set=1027 I've never actually seen Family Guy, so I'm not sure if this is a specific reference. Not quite the complexity level I was looking for, but it's in a pretty good spot balance-wise. You might want to make the control wear off when it dies, though.
@TrippleBoggey3 http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/covenant This is an interesting one. It's kind of hard to imagine a situation in which your opponents let it gets cast, however. If they're ahead, they want to stay there, even if it seems to benefit them if it actually did you wouldn't be casting it at all. 10/10 for flavor text, though.
@Gateways7 http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/realm-of-the-immortal My only real problem here is that it's hard to think of a Boros deck that hasn't either won or lost by turn 9. It's also potentially infinite with every 'sacrifice a creature' effect, depending on how the first ability works precisely. That said, it's a cool 'battle royale' ability, with a bunch of really neat interactions.
@Victator http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/bloodthirsty-stegosaurus?list=user An 8/8 for 5 makes me kind of scared, especially when stapled to repeatable creature removal. That said, it's really elegant design, and I do love a good Dinosaur. I might want to make it 4/4 base, just because at 5/5 it kills upwards of 90% of all creatures in Magic without dying (4/4 knocks it down to 80%).
@tacobandit http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/endless-obliteration Clean and powerful, definitely a good combination. I have a particular fondness for taunt effects as the proud owner of a Kazuul EDH deck. Perhaps a little on the simple side, but 10 words tends to do that.
@Tomigon http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/eternal-wolf-1?list=user A good bit better than the already-solid Elvish Warrior, this might be a bit strong. I'm also struggling to think of a situation where I wouldn't evoke it outside of chump-blocking. Combining Evoke and Undying is definitely a really interesting idea, though.
@Monty http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/final-flame-1 The opposite issue as Nature's Calling: this wants to be an instant or sorcery rather than an enchantment. It's also more or less unplayable in essentially all scenarios. Even in Hive Mind decks, the Pacts do it more reliably. Is there something I'm missing?
@Faiths_Guide http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/copse-edge-warden Very flavorful, though perhaps a little on the simple end (given how rare land destruction is, it's pretty much a french vanilla creature). Good to see Yeva getting some love, though. Too many core set legends are forgotten!
@mtgwizard9003 http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/lack-of-options?list=user Very creative effect. Also very broken. Helix Pinnacle is probably the most obvious thing to do with this, but it's far from the only one. That said, with some limitations on it, this could be a very cool 'equalizer' effect.
@UndeadZombie22 http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/creative-writer The idea here is super cute, but I feel that this is just a tad too oppressive. This shuts out a majority of cards, and is fairly easy to build around; it creates a binary of 'deal with this card or lose', and it's one that's pretty hard to deal with. Love the flavor text.
@Corwinnn http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/interrupted-fate This card, while definitely cool, has the same issues as Grip of Chaos: it's a disruption spell that prevents its own destruction, making it really hard to deal with. Good flavor, though!
The winner is @AlphaDelta 's Illiteracy! Thank you all so much for participating, and wonderful cards from everyone!

Laertes is a bit awkward, since it takes so long to get online. Ophelia taps to transform, so Laertes is tapped from the start; giving him poisonous takes another turn (he can't attack and then tap). You can't swing any earlier than turn 4, which is a lot of time for your opponent to find an answer. You'd also need a TON of dual lands to use them reliably, since you have to pony up W, then UU, then BBB. That said, major props for the extended metaphor.

I'd put this in blue and white rather than red, just based on access to wraths and control spells. That said, it's a cool effect, and an original one. Good job!
