@Tomigon i would like them to post things. it doesn't mean they'll win, and i know that they have won many contests so i won't let lthem get first unlesss they have an amazing card
@Akaroen That sounds confusing.. Anyway if you want people to post old cards as well and they have a chance to win, I have to apologize to everyone, especially to @MrRansom.
@Tomigon, no need to apologize. I didn't realize that my participating looked like I was trying to take the winning place from new people. I do not want my actions to be perceived that way, so I will stop participating in contests until further notice. Thanks for keeping me in line, Tomigon.
@MrRansom No! I think you are misunderstanding. I even think you should participate many contests and win them to show people how good cardsmith can become:)
My thought is submitting old cards look like just a robbing. You need no effort for the contest. And this might be only me, but it even looks greedy and I think it isn't respectful to new people. So I feel sorry for people who are putting a lot of effort for the contest. Especially when the contest is short. People start making cards when the contest is opened. If you do the same thing, it's fair.
So I didn't say you shouldn't participate in any contest. Sorry if my bad English confused you! Akaroen said he wants to see old cards too, so we don't need to feel guilty in this contest I think:P
@MrRansom, @Faiths_Guide, @Tomigon, @Corwinnn, Yo guys! I see there's a problem here... Maybe a bit of misunderstanding and another bit of confusion... Actually, they're the same thing xD. Anyways, I tend to make certain unusual challenges, which naturally takes out the possibility of old cards. When you guys enter old cards, I don't mind. I can see that sometimes, it feels like you guys are spamming, but other times, you guys really help bring popularity to a competition. In other words, you guys actually help a lot in making more contests popular. For others, they might think you are purposely trying to win everything, so I might prefer you guys with fewer, but more focused entries, but I don't mind - I'm Asian and I know what "Try-Hards" are actually like. Either way, you guys are the people bringing popularity to contests and I believe you guys stepping out to "Give others a chance" actually does "Give people no intent on joining", because people only join popular contests. In the end you guys joining actually helps instead of ruining.
Side note: More entries doesn't mean more chances of winning. You all know @Faiths_Guide. You see how much he spams. Has he won any of my contests? Has he? NO!!! Actually... YES... Because the other entries really aren't good, but I always slightly help the people with less popularity because they need inspiration to join more. Just because there are many entries doesn't mean others can't have a bomb.
RoFLMao @TrippleBoggey3... I don't know how much of that is true, but I know that I like posting cards that I'm particularly fond of, and if I should happen to win, I usually give any favorites I win to someone who I think deserves them more than I do.
Also, on behalf of all those Cardsmiths you mentioned "Thank you for the kind words."

I don't care if they win, I just wanted you and others to get to see 'em
Thanks for the contest!

I still think you made a good point. Those of us with a bunch of cards should try being as considerate as possible.
