Time for some winners! A lot of great entries, but there were just a few that stuck out more than the rest.
Honorable mention: @Corwinnn with Visalia Voldaren I really like the concept of hunt, and it has nice flavor with the concept. And I like the flavor the ability has with the card, kind of like she'll do anything to take someone down. Very nice card with both synergetic qualities and fantastic flavor, exactly what this contest was looking for!
3rd place: @littledemon with Drenyn, Crusader of Death I think this is a concept and well costed. And I mean like this is a great card, everything works. My only problem, is that I think the first ability is undercosted. After Drenyn hits the board, you have a 5/5 with lifelink, deathtouch, and flying, which means the evasion most likely builds a 10 life difference between you and your opponent, and that just grows every turn. I think it would have been much better if it had costed something like {1}{b}{b} so it's more of a "can I use this mana for this or should I put it more towards a spell?"
2nd place: @Lodgeh with Runo Stromkirk, Heathen This was a very nice concept. The whole 6 mana with first strike and hexproof and a 3/1 I think is fine in its own, especially considering that Narset was a 3/2 with those same static abilities. The reason this card doesn't rank higher is because the second ability is far too abusable. The fact you can tap almost every permanent and deal 1 damage to each opponent is just a little much. He seems to be primarily focused on lands, so I think it would have been much more flavorful if it was only lands that could be tapped, and it was only 1 damage to target opponent, not each. And maybe set a certain amount of times the ability can be used each turn cause he can burn for like 15 late game in one turn. But I really like the flavor and the idea of gaining control of lands as opposed to creatures (that ability probably should have had {t} in it too, but it's fine as is)
1st place: @ningyounk with Ruby, Child of Innistrad This is a really original card, with the whole "if it was the last card in your hand" which I think is incredibly flavorful with Innistrad. It's also a more difficult ability to trigger, which shows a stark power difference between 1 and 2 in Innistrad, which is what this contest was all about, a vampire that was powerful enough but not overwhelming powerful over Olivia. I also like that there aren't any static abilities on Ruby. To me it represents the flavor that she isn't "old enough" to have the flying of her mother, or the deathtouch of other vampires, or the lifelink of other vampires. Wonderful card!
Winners congratulations, and feel free to post here or send me the cards you want favorited
