@TrippleBoggey3 I appreciate all the suggestions and contributions I hope to make this as fun and polished as possible. @DragonFaceEater is doing a wonderful job helping that happen.
Since you said you're working together with the other players, I have taken the liberty of officially referring to you as "teammates" as in 2-Headed Giant. Using this terminology you'll have increased and more functional access to SURGE! It will allow the players to work together more effectively and result in a more interactive game (IMO).
@Faiths_Guide I'm trying to refrain from saying yes or no to certain things early to help encourage more broad ideas. However since you asked for Alleauht; Interesting alternative to card draw. I like it, though what's going on with his p/t? That being said, Varent does make wonderful use of surge (Something I forgot exists until just now)!
I decided to make a Gruul card that supported both Aggro and Ramp, since both like to play creatures with power higher than their CMC. I also realized I haven't made a Golgari card.
@DragonFaceEater I've been looking at each individual one I just don't want to review too much or else people might try make things more to my liking instead of their own zainy ideas.
Just so you're apprised @DragonFaceEater, the system of using hybrid symbols for the "Mana pool" ability is more (or at least as) appropriate:
117.7e If a cost is reduced by an amount of mana represented by a hybrid mana symbol, the player paying that cost chooses one half of that symbol at the time the cost reduction is applied (see rule 601.2f). If a colored half is chosen, the cost is reduced by one mana of that color. If a colorless half is chosen, the cost is reduced by an amount of generic mana equal to that half’s number.
Oh, I'll start using the hybrid mana symbol (though i am not going to remake all of the cards I've already entered, well, at least not yet. I'll probably do it later.
