When you read it, what's the first thing that comes to mind? Probably Apple's very popular device, the iPod. But upon closer inspection, it is a card that very well could be in a Magic the Gathering expansion.
We all have them. Now it's in card form. Every little thing, no matter how small it might be, effects your mental state more than it should. Even things you do, decisions you make, give you even more anxiety, eventually, sometimes you have to shut everything down. I was going for flavor, but in the end, I think it also got a decent power level for EDH/Commander and possibly sideboard in 60-card games. Against players who are targeting their own permanents, especially some infinite combos, this card is killer. But I think its limited uses make it balanced. If this card doesn't win, I'm still interested in feedback either on its flavor or its balancing. Thanks!
Sorry @Nicholas_Bolas but unless you can prove that someone (other than yourself) has published some thing with those exact names, they do not qualify. This contest is about finding something in the real world that is written down and creatively using it without changing it at all. Not to creatively change the name, that takes out the challenge of this contest.
@Butters Unless you can find a publication with the name "the sith" or "D'vorah" those entries don't count. You cannot use the name of characters or other objects in the publication, just its name. A publication could be a game, tv show, book, magazine, comic, movie, newspaper, tabloid, song, company, or sign. (The last two aren't really publications per se, but they count.)
http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/dimir-intrigues-1 I decided to enter this one as well. Dimir Intrigues is the name of the Dimir deck from the original Ravnica set. EDIT: New card function.
@Bellycuss Unless you can find a publication with the name "Erebor, Desolation of Smaug" those entries don't count. You cannot use the name of characters or other objects in the publication, just its name. A publication could be a game, tv show, book, magazine, comic, movie, newspaper, tabloid, song, company, or sign. (The last two aren't really publications per se, but they count.) However, if you take off the word "Erebor" it will count.

And I guess Anxiety Attack doesn't qualify. I didn't read the rules properly. Thanks for clarifying.
