Make these bad mechanics good.
Hello, for this contest I want you to make playable cards using the following mechanics playable without changing them.
After strike (This creature deals damage after creatures without after strike.)
Example
Confess X (Another target player may look at the top N cards of your library, then put any number of them on the bottom of your library and the rest on top in any order.)
Example
Mercy (Prevent all combat damage this creature would deal to creatures.)
Example
Maximum of three entries.
1st place: A trophy, a follow, and 10 favorites.
2nd place: a follow and 5 favorites.
3rd place: 3 favorites and the privilege to choose a Honourable Mention
Honourable Mentions: 2 Favorites. I will choose an honorable mention in addition to the Smith who gets third place.
This contest ends some time in the future.

I finally made a card again!
Without reminder text, flavor (along these lines) fit:
"In exchange for sparing your life, all I ask is fealty."
@IanLowenthal mostly Deviantart, although Google has brought me to some other interesting sites as well. (Many of which are mentioned in the art tutorial)
Huh? Which?
Comprehensive rules:
701.10. Fight
701.10a A spell or ability may instruct a creature to fight another creature or it may instruct two creatures to fight each other. Each of those creatures deals damage equal to its power to the other creature.
701.10b If a creature instructed to fight is no longer on the battlefield or is no longer a creature, no damage is dealt. If a creature is an illegal target for a resolving spell or ability that instructs it to fight, no damage is dealt.
Damage dealt while fighting is not combat damage, so abilities like first strike won't have any effect. Fighting does not cause the creatures to become tapped. If a creature somehow fights itself, it will deal damage to itself equal to its power twice simultaneously.
Mercy only prevents combat damage, so, yeah.
Wow! That's a good one. Perhaps the only flavorful reason for white to take control of something. Well done.
Thanks!
I am still getting the hang of the subtle nature of semantics for cardsmiting.
Fixed it
@Faiths_Guide,
Thanks!
