C.O.M.M.O.N. (Not accepting entries)
We are no longer accepting entries, though the contest is still open for comments
Now here's a different challenge for you guys! I have an acronym for you: C.O.M.M.O.N.. Make a common card, however you wish, but there are only two exceptions:
1. You must make a card as if it were for a serious set.
2. You card must have traits to fill in the acronym C.O.M.M.O.N., but you make up the words to fill them in! The first letter of a word or phrase should fill in each letter, and are based on traits a card has (excluding its set symbol and rarity). It's okay to shuffle around words if you have to! (i.e. "Ability that produces mana" can be replaced with "Mana, abilty that produces" to score an M)
Examples:
Creates tokens (Effect)
Of (Name)
March (Name)
Make haste! (Flavor)
One life (Effect)
Noncreature (Spell type)
March of Ghouls: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/march-of-ghouls
Creature, Enchant (Ability)
Otherworldly (Name)
Mana cost, ability with (Ability)
Minus 13 (Ability)
Offensive (Card's Playstyle)
Noncreature (Spell type)
Otherworldly Pain: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/otherworldly-pain
Oh! I should also mention the prizes!
My favorite: Feature on "random card" + guaranteed favorite + follow
Most favored: Feature on "random card" + guaranteed favorite
Best use of acronym system: At least 2 guaranteed favorites
Any good cards will be modified if necessary and added to Tommia! Limit 3 entries a person, with edits allowed before the end of the contest!
The deadline will likely be around the end of this month, since that's when I want to end my current set.

My favorite: Vanishing Act by @Emeraldragon17 - 10/10
Seems more like an uncommon, but let's put that and the whole energy counter thing aside, and we have ourselves a great common! Not only is this card nice, but it's simple and effective.
Most favored: The same card!
Best use of the acronym system: Call on Many Monsters of Near by @UndeadZombie22!
Thanks to everyone who entered! We had some great cards to look at, and look forward to seeing what's next!
In the meantime, if you're hankering for another challenge, go over to my Beta themed contest linked below! There's plenty of time left, and two challenges to enter!
