Flavor Contest #1: Sadder than Serra
After the contest by @Rhythm_ (Judge! Judge! Judge!), the Darker than Innistrad Contest, which you were to make the darkest card possible, I decided to make a contest to make the saddest card possible.
So, as you know, Serra had a very sad life, and this contest, you have to make a card that's very sad in flavor.
-The sad part can be the flavor text.
-Good art and extra flavor is nice too.
-Old cards are allowed.
-Ends October 31st
-Prize=Trophy

@RohanDragoon, That's some nice flavor, especially the last line "And the ground drank of his blood." However, a CMC of 2 makes much more sense.
I originally thought that too, however I made it 3 because I thought it was a good middle ground between Doom Blade and something like Flesh to Dust. It also probably should've been a common

I might end this contest a bit earlier. It hasn't been receiving too much interest, and I do have another contest I want to do. I'll make this into a chain, and if no one responds before the end of today, I'll judge, and in the future, I'll make it a 1 week long contest that can form a chain.
