1 thing though: For a black card, it should probably say "You lose life equal to the amount of mana added.

@Tutlaschk nice card I don't think there have been any free ritual cards yet

Ritualistic (You can't spend mana produced by lands to cast this card.)

I understand entirely. Thanks for the positive comments.
And yes, a deck using elvish mystics, birds of paradise, noble heiriarch, etc was exactly what I was thinking.

First of all, once your mana empties the mana pool, he dies
Your card should be worded like this:
Ritualistic (You can't spend mana produced by lands to cast this card.)
Stormbrewer Wizard's power and toughness are each equal to the amount of mana produced by nonland sources plus one.
Whenever a blue card is sent to a graveyard, Stormbrewer Wizard gets +1/+1 until end of turn.
YOUR wording could do with a bit of tweaking. It should say:
'Ritualistic (You can't spend mana produced by lands to cast this spell.)
Stormbrewer Wizard's power and toughness are each equal to the number of mana in your mana pool produced by non-land sources plus one.
Whenever a blue card is put into a graveyard from anywhere, Stormbrewer Wizard gets +1/+1 until end of turn.'
And, @thenightbringer, @TheFriendlyGeek that card is, if anything, too powerful. It would be used as a 4x in storm, since it thins the deck and can be cast for 'free', while netting you an additional land for the turn.
I got them the correct rewording above (and used it on Leonin Mercenaries).
I'm confused. Correct rewording for what? Why did you mention me in this?
Must've still had your name on the clipboard, sorry dude.
It's alright, accidents happen.
