@Faiths_Guide Not necessarily but this card provided an interesting perspective so I'll let it pass. (Also, is this how you use Gravitate because I was SOOO confused about it in the Mechanix challenge lol)
Also @Flatfish glad you liked this contest . MTG is sure highly compatible with stuffs like philosophy!
@Kinojitsu_Asahi Essentially a given parameter (hand size, life total, etc.) is "attracted" or "drawn to" another given parameter (I don't think this would have to be the same entity) by a factor indicated numerically.
So, in my cards instance: At the beginning of each player's upkeep that player's life total will move up or down 4 life towards his or her opponent who's life total has the greatest absolute difference with their own. (eg. 4 players - life totals 40, 38, 36, & 35 respectively. At the beginning of "38 life's" upkeep, he or she will lose 4 life because the player who's life total has the greatest difference (35) is lower than theirs. 3 players - life totals 40, 38, & 36 respectively. At the beginning of "38 life's" upkeep, nothing happens because 40 and 36 have an equal absolute difference of 2 and are therefore "tied" relative to the active player.)
It's not the simplest to explain, however, in play it should be pretty easily followed.

I love this contest. I'm close to favouriting every entry - apparently great ideas of philosophy make up for great ideas on mtg cards.
I'd say, if you're teetering on the cliff of decision as to whether or not to favo(u)rite, jump. XD
(Oh, and I totally agree. Some really cool stuff here.)
