Thanks! @Faiths_Guide@KimJongMartin Better or worse? Another version of Fake Gems was also here. This one was far less powerful and didn't make as much sense.
@MaverickGV I know! Every once in awhile you hit a goldmine!
@Death_Methods Well, that's a pretty hefty drawback. Thematically, why would you, the distributor of misleading trinkets, then "play nice" and show them everything you do "behind the screen" as it were?
@Faiths_Guide I was thinking once the opponent knew that the gems were fake, the opponent would get an idea of what the caster's true intentions are, and no longer trust them. There's probably a much more subtle way of adding that theme though. I'll change it if and when an idea comes. Thanks for the feedback!! It can be tough to tell whether something's too much until someone comments.
Honorable mention #1: @Guunarinator with 'Confidential Ballroom'.
A very interesting card, that could make a cool cycle in the next conspiracy, and an alternative to the millions of guildgate reprints we seem to be seeing these days. My only issue? It doesn't work. I do believe activated abilities are formatted like '{cost}: effect' while hidden agendas only have triggered effects. Nevertheless, it is still a very nice card.
I like it a lot, and the flavor is evry nice, but I think it may be a bit UP. I would consider making it cost (2) or even (1) and then have it gain control of any artifact. I mean, it's pretty situational either way: they have to have an artifact, and not have a very good use for an extra mana. However, the flavor text is nice, as is the artwork, and it's very original.
Honorable Mention #3: @Faiths_Guide with 'Undiplomatic Expositor'.
The name is really cool, as is the flavor and the art. I like how you could have gone with the very normal Fiend Hunter 'human' banisher effect, but instead you went with an elephant, and I really like elephants. I could really see this card in RTR, not to mention it's nicely balanced. My only issue? It just seems a bit...Well, unoriginal really. Don't get me wrong, it's a really nice card, I just think there were perhaps better entries.
And onto the place winners!
Third place is @Faiths_Guide with 'Arcane Industries'! Congrats!
You made a very nice card out of a very bad set of words there! I like how it could be used in constructed and EDH, since it's both powerful and political, not to mention the art fits it perfectly, and the flavor text is nice. I like trading effects too (since I'm supposing that's how you get something and they get something, right?), and it doesn't suffer from the 'It helps them as much as it helps me' effects that many group hug cards suffer from. And you did the thingamibob with the flavor text! :O
Second place is @MaverickGV with 'Diplomatic Whale'! Congrats!
Another group-hug card! Again, this card helps everybody, but helps you a little bit more, unlike many other group-hug cards. That set of words was another not-so good one, but you managed to make a very nice card out of it. While using a whale may have been a bit pushed, it's makes the card have a lot more flair, makes it a lot more interesting, and I like that a lot. I could see this quickly becoming a staple in EDH.
...And (drumroll please) first place is none other than the man, the myth, the legend, who came, who saw and who conquered...@DomriKade with 'Perplexing Gallery'! Congrats!
Another set of words that must have been a difficult one. I like this card a lot, and would make for some very interesting EDH interactions - it reminds me of Mind's Dilation a bit, actually - and could fit perfectly in Shadows over Innistrad. The card certainly is perplexing - they try to cast their spell, and end up casting your spell! It's balanced and the formatting is good, so there is, quite simply, nothing to complain about.
Winners, message me about the favorites and everything! You will be added to the Hall of Fame and may get a trophy card soon! Feel free to PM about how I judged your card!

That seems pretty good
