  ironically for those who grew up on Pokemon digimon yugioh or dragonballz have watched anime but thats not even the surface of the anime industry gundam wing evongaleion neon genesis beyblade inuyasha are to name a few
  but then there are shows that are not anime yet look it teen titans i will accept those
