Sam is known to be the village laughing stock as he is focused on unexplained phenomenons and determined in his studies rather than focusing on the city of Khare's main issues economically. He resides within the cemetery for the privacy that it brings as well as his antisocial behavior. He has a push to shove relationship to his son Sivant the mayor. Which is determined to bring Khare up from its economic recession. The stretched relationship with his son has brought him flexibility to do his works unimpeded.
Sam has been dabbling in the occult recently. As such the towns people have been hearing perturbing noises from the cemetary and the usual quietness around the cemetery at night has turned into echoes. The villagers are concerned but they have other matters to deal with in this recession.
The thievery in Khare has risen to an all time high as an unknown faction in the city have been committing theft at an escalating pace. Their ability to steal possessions without physically harming citizens or doing significant damage to property has inspired Sam, the magician to mimic this in his mysterious arts.
What is Sam's intentions? Is this leading to saving Khare or is it the downfall of Khare itself? Either way the ethics behind what is going on in Khare will come to question as the city makes its reforms...
Sivant finally did something in the right direction by doing a mass search of crimelords, this includes Adirina. Any crimelords with intentions of overthrowing the mayor were put in prison near the Necropolis, the thoughts of the everyday civilians are mixed on the impact this may affect Khare, positive or negative.
I wonder if that despicable mage has finished some of his inventions as it seems Khare is gonna need a lot of ingenuity if they are going to deal with this descent of organized factions.
@KJMartin I'm just making sure to confirm with you... May I upload some events going on between the actions of the factions and fellow citizens. I want to bring some insight on the events outside Khare that are spreading rumors!
This will obviously be between at least 2 other uploads so as to give others freedom in forming the narrative.
Since there hasn't been any posts today, I thought I would make another! The people of Khare, especially the nobles have had a lot to laugh about lately after recent events.
Rumors have spread from outside of Khare that miners in the region have been confronted within various caverns as the caves collapsed! Luckily, in each instance the miners were left unscathed as they escaped the caves. No longer able to prove what happened, their tales were treated as laughing stocks among the region. Those rumors have finally made their way into the already damaged Khare. Will someone believe them? ...or will the city cave in to other issues so as to speak?
@modnation675 Thanks for your enthusiasm! Sorry for you not being able to keep on posting. I just did it so other people had a bigger chance of joining
No problem KJMartin, I know if I chain posted that things would move too fast! The last time I accidentally posted another because I thought someone else commented one.
Either way, hopefully nobody kills off Sam too quickly in the least or I will have to make a villain in the quiet protagonist's(?) place. Samuel is getting things moving along soon but there will in time be more news on the surrounding region outside of Khare!
@modnation675 I really want this contest to keep going too. It's why I've kept responding so frequently to posts, but I've realized that I need to keep some space open for others.
Yeah, I'm gonna mention this challenge in other contests and challenges to try and get new people to join.
Sadly, people seem to be intimidated by having to write lore. But to keep this going I've decided that I will make one upload every two days at minimum. Hopefully, I wont have to do any back to back posts!

Edit: I started off from @camick 's reply!
I have created a monster!
I apologize for my behavior KJMartin!
I'll make an exception this time, but:
"- Don't make two entries in a row."
I apologize! Please delete the comment.
LOL! Yeah, Adrinia is going all out, yo!

Surrounding Tendrils
I don't really have anything to add. So here's a vanilla creature with some flavor text related to the last card. Someone help me out?
If nobody elses posts by the late evening, I will make another post so as to keep something going on in Khare as I want this to be a continual thing!
Thanks for your enthusiasm!

I think when I have some free time, I'll gather up all the current lore for Khare just to see what I'm working with.
