Two Contest Trends Combined (Ongoing Chain Diceroll)
For this contest I decided to combine to of the most popular contest trends into one. But first I want to clarify what one of them is. There has been confusion lately over what an ongoing challenge is, so I am going to propose a new contest type name to clear it up.
Ongoing challenges originated in the fall of 2015 and I credit @Commander_Paratus and this challenge with starting (Or at least popularizing) the trend: http://forums.mtgcardsmith.com/discussion/714/top-card-daily-challenge-ongoing-post/p1. I think that Commander_Paratus meant for ongoing challenge to mean 'a challenge that doesn't end' but it soon became synonymous with 'a challenge where entries are based on previous entries'. And now it is used interchangeably which can be confusing. So I propose that we call them Chain Challenges or Chain Contests, which I think is a lot clearer. So ongoing will mean A contest that doesn't end. And Chain will mean A contest where entries are based on the previous entryYou don't have to do this, if you want to use the old confusing method then go ahead. But this is what I will call them from now on.
Dice Rolls originated a lot earlier, before I joined, and were very popular in the fall of 2015. But now they are pretty much nonexistent.
For this contest I will start it off with a list of numbers representing the numbers on a die for the first person to roll. The rolls will determine what kind of card they need to make. After making the card they will provide a new list of rolls for the next person, and so on...
The list I will provide will be for a 6 sided die, but you can use any kind of die for your lists.
First list:
Roll one: Color one:
1: blue
2: red
3: green
4: black
5: white
6: Colorless
Roll two: Color two:
1: colorless
2: white
3: black
4: green
5: red
6: blue
Roll three: Creature type:
1: Human
2: spirit
3: gremlin
4: Elk
5: Werewolf
6: Angel
Roll Four: Subtype:

2: Cleric

5: artificer
6: ally
Roll Five: Mechanic:
1: fabricate
2: landfall
3: skulk
4: morph
5: montrosity
6: investigate
You can reuse old lists you've used earlier in the challenge and reuse other people's with their permission.
Only real WOTC creature types and subtypes
You can Copy/Paste this:
Roll one: Color one:
1: blue
2: red
3: green
4: black

6: Colorless
Roll two: Color two:
1: colorless

Roll Five: Mechanic:

But you don't have to use this layout. You can do whatever you want as long as it makes the next person somehow randomly select different aspects of their card.
