Reactivation Challenge #30 - 'One-Drop Commanders'
Hello! I won the last reactivation challenge, so here I am! I came across one I had seen before, that I think is pretty darn cool, so here it is.
*Reactivation Disclaimer:
1 ) An inactive challenge is chosen to be reactivated, it gets posted for new submissions with a new deadline.
2 ) The new judge cannot choose his or her own submissions as the winner.
3 ) After the winners are declared, the judge selects one participant as the next host (must be an active member).
4 ) The chosen participant chooses the next challenge that has been inactive for over 2 months. He or she hosts it as the reactivation judge.
5) The reactivation judge starts this process all over from step 1.
*Second Disclaimer:
- New discussion is opened for each reactivated challenge. A link to the original challenge is put there.
- The alternate judge must type original judge's name after "@" to notice that his or her challenge is reactivated by the alternate judge.
- The original judge has a right to take over their original challenge or to ask for it to remain open and unresolved at any time prior to a winner being declared and posted.
Da rulz:
- Make a legendary creature with cmc one or less.
- UP to three entries per smith.

[Bangs head against table]
I was looking at another challenge that hadn't been judged and then saw that one and decided I liked it better forgetting the purposes of these...
[Ignore this I'm changing it]
Though he may be a little overpowered, I think he would be very fun to play, mainly with rebound and suspend cards (I would even play Dichotomancy with him). He also sort of fixes your mana, letting you play one colour as another.
Cheers everyone!
That's wonderful!
Congratulations! May many blessings come your way!
Well then I'll submit this

I would play this commander in a deck with lots of landfall abilities, or abilities that benefit tokens given that the tokens this commander summons do not disappear at the end of your turn.
Mother Tideswell fits into a good old-fashioned blue beaters deck. Because Magic isn't about counterspells or combos. It's about PLAYING LARGE CREATURES and TURNING THEM SIDEWAYS.
I can see him being a control commander, allowing you to draw cards from being the only creature, while not needing them, using cards that limit attacking you like propaganda and anything that disrupts creatures.
This commander would be an equipment voltron kind of commander. It would strive for getting three artifacts on the battlefield as soon as possible and turn him sideways.
Maybe some disruption themes, get to cast cards from other players, the specific theme doesn't stick out to me but I am sure that this (being so powerful) would find it's way somewhere. The reason that its abilities are powerful is because he is easy to target and kill (being no protection and 2 toughness).
