I made a thing! Here it is: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/sudden-scorching Essentially a roast, but it's instant speed, costs {r}{r}, can get anything and deals damage to your stuff. Pretty sure it's balanced.
@unicornsareevil13579 I think we've drifted away from the wizard kind of theme, and more towards all out war. Shrines sound good! I'm also wondering - what kind of 'walkers do you want for this world @Everyone?
@Lujikul But I thought the Gatewatch were to be in almost every new set? How about we only have one of the Gatewatch, so its less focused on the Gatewatch as a whole but rather only one walker?
@modnation675 That's a good point actually. I'll probably remake it. However, we have to remember that this set isn't just meant to be multicolour - this would make it very unpopular with players who like playing mono-coloured strategies. We need to keep the monocolorness in there, just not very prominently.
@KJMartin I have NO idea why, but you are acting kind of different than I know you.... but oh well, yes it is blurry and the art isn't that good compared to what you can find. Hmmmmm
@KJMartin you are acting kind of new to the site, not to offend any new smiths, but its like you are okay with decent and you usually (from what I know) will not settle for nothing less than perfect (said my hero Patrick Chapin). Its just a little inkling.
@TheFriendlyGeek That's true actually. I think it's just because I've made a LOT of cards today, and so just won't to get all of the ideas in my head down.
If I don't make cards to empty my mind, I go mad (said my hero Lord Byron, apart form all the scandals of course. And he replaced "make cards" with "write").
I always had a problem with them continually remaking these planeswalkers as I think WotC should really focus on some of the other characters. Some of the other planeswalker characters feel so much cooler. Hopefully, WotC will consider making more one or two off planeswalkers.
Understandably, that does take a lot of effort due to tying the lore of them into the story!
Edit: I'd like to see more adrift planeswalkers in later sets as I think having some smaller sections to the lore shouldn't be an issue.
@unicornsareevil13579 I don't remember! If there isn't a preference based on when they came into play or by player rotation, you choose which of either to double.
I'd have to do some rule scouring though and currently I'm finishing a Claymore episode.
Although, I'll look it up after if you're still interested!
Both hits are doubled. It's a single spell dealing damage. Since it meets the qualifications, and isn't dealing one, then the other, but rather at the same time, both instances of damage would double.

Yet in the last posts I've seen land destruction on a card and a really nonviable RR hard cast spell.
Edit: I understand my land was a bust as randomness is disapproved of. But, I think we need to take a different perspective!

True - I saved and cropped the art from another cardsmith card I had seen. Is it really that blurry though?
Really?!? I am a volatile creature, dear friend.
How do you mean, differently, if you don't mind me asking?

Also, I know your cards to always give artist credit. In my head, it feels like someone else is on your account.

Only the first is doubled!

Sounds right. Thanks for commenting as I got distracted! XD
