I'm currently brainstorming and came up with the following idea! (At least as an example.)
I would like for your opinions so that I can get a good idea of the bi-color 2 CMC creatures that we will be using in the set's base alongside convoke.
---------- I've been getting confusion from people over why the creature produces mana!
As such I though I should explain that it's actually extracted from itself. Rather it's soul is being siphoned, meaning it's gradually becoming just an ordinary enchantment rather than a being.
This results in its dissension as mentioned in the name! ----------

@modnation675 But that uses persist... It's quite a cool card, but is group-huggy and an enchantment creature so seems unlikely that anything else like that would be in the set. Plus the mana rock ability is more of an artifact or green creature's effect.
@KJMartin What ideas do you have currently? Remember I can always revise cards as I prioritize balance!
I like the idea of having enchantment creatures that merge the effects of two colors. (Using a bi-color symbol) ...and use an ability from a colour outside its colors.
Keep in mind this card is balanced to be equivalent to a normal 2 CMC white creature. That and you can't use the mana if you're blocking!
I also like drawback effects that provide a penalty for abilities normally in other colors. (In an interesting way that promotes politics!) This way we support 3+ multiplayer in the set rather than have it as an after thought!
. .
Although I'm open to other ideas if someone may start us off! Especially since we haven't gotten off to a fast start.
I thought of a new idea for our color fixing situation. It is for colorless artifacts, so no need to force it into a faction! --> A less color specific attempt on reminiscing the Scarecrow theme!
(Below are two examples!) --> I'll leave you to decide the name that you prefer!
[Name] - [Creature Name] has [Keyword] as long as you have two or more colors among permanents you control.
[Name] - [Creature Name] gets [Stat Buff] as long as you have two or more colors among permanents you control.
It may also be formatted differently for use on instants or sorceries!
Could also have a variable color requirement decided.
Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a creature, put an ignite counter on that creature. At the beginning of each upkeep, deal 1 damage to each creature with an ignite counter on it. If that creature would be regenerated, deal 1 damage to it (this is applied after it is regenerated).
Cool keyword, I like the idea of it! Might be hard to implement, but still is nice.
(Would likely want to implement a rule similar to how infect counters work to have it before the stack)
... I agree with the too many mechanics although I think having common rarity artifacts with the keyword I mentioned will make the artifacts not purely a downgrade. While not making them too strong in artifact decks!
Let's just go with unearth. And I've noticed card production has slowed down a bit. I should get making more cards, and I will do tomorrow. Does anyone have any objection for me to start making faction contests? And I'm also considering looking for cool cards other creators have made and asking them if they wouldn't mind seeing it in the set.
I have nothing against faction contests, though maybe there should be prizes for commons and uncommons as well, just so we don't get swamped with rares when there's exactly thirty total slots, not including ones we've already made.
@sanjaya666 I've noticed three new cards have been made (I think by you). A couple of things: - Please post all the cards you make HERE or say in the comments who made it, really helps and edit and keep track of things. - Ruin Flies goes infinite with any sac engine, so needs to be fixed. Also try and shy away from double symbol mana costs (like a card costing {g}{g} or {b}{b}{b}). - We're not using shadow or wither as mechanics so those can't be used for "shadow thing".
EDIT: Also please add the cards you make to the appropriate sets. Thanks! ^ ^
@sanjaya666 As you can see above, I made some comments. If you don't mind, I'm going to edit them, and possibly remove them from the Tolernia faction set as they have very little to do with Tolernia

IDEA FOR GOROTH MECHANIC
Ignite:
Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a creature, put an ignite counter on that creature. At the beginning of each upkeep, deal 1 damage to each creature with an ignite counter on it. If that creature would be regenerated, deal 1 damage to it (this is applied after it is regenerated).
WoTc have stopped using regenerate though.
We're on the verge of having wayyy to many mechanics, so I wouldn't suggest having enchantment creatures in the set.
No problem, it was just an example! If we actually use the card, I can change any element about it.
(Would likely want to implement a rule similar to how infect counters work to have it before the stack)

It still doesn't seem red/blue/black/green though.
I think it's fun if UB card's unearth cost is RUBG
Seems dees, but then I'm worried Goroth would just become Grixis.
Hey everyone!
Let's just go with unearth.

Now back in the groove! XD
Yeah, sure, I'll add you to the chat!
So you can access the account on which we make the cards.

If you don't mind, I'm going to edit them, and possibly remove them from the Tolernia faction set as they have very little to do with Tolernia
Fine
