Certainly a pretty interesting concept, and indifferent to the other idle crow-watchers many scarecrows are. The artwork works very well with the card and flavour, and is a very good portrait of @yousmelllikeapumpkin. I don't think it's without flaw, however; although I understand where the name came from, I still don't think it sounds very good (although that's a rather minor thing). I also think it may be unrealistically overpowered - {b}{r} for a 3/1 haste would take the centre stage in many standard aggro decks, and then the other abilities are just the icing on the cake. Perhaps, to make it a little more fair, you could say "At the beginning of combat on your turn, you may cast Aroma from your graveyard. If you do, he costs {1} more to cast and attacks this turn if able." He could also be pretty powerful in many dredge-style decks.
When I first saw this card, I knew it was to be popular it's such a fun idea. Suspend - although very low on the storm scale - is certainly an interesting mechanic to toy around with, especially seeing what you can do with permanents dying and getting suspend. The coloured ability interests me as well, and makes it more desirable as a commander, as well as fitting in with the coloured themes present on cards similar to Painter's Savant.
However, there seems to be a bit of a "fantasy name famine" present in many of your legends which especially shines through here. I suppose it may of been a bit of a pun with "Jack o Lanterns"? Still seems a little pushed. How about "Jack of the Lantern"? It also seems a bit of a contradiction how his name suggests he is the king of the crows when most scarecrows punish them.
Very cool concept; does very well at getting round those pesky mana screws, as well as expressing the more peaceful side of scarecrows, rather than the "SMASH-SMASH!" idea many of the others do. The flavour is great too.
The art is a real let down, however. Although the interweb certainly isn't abundant with scarecrow fantasy art, this resembles more of a children's book picture than a fantasy scarecrow.
An awesome card, really capturing the idea of farmland very well. A nice manland; much more interesting than many of the other current ones WoTc have created, especially since it doesn't have the same "land getting up and walking" manland convention. Flavour text is on point as well.
I am a little concerned it may be slightly overpowered however, but this card really baffles me, so I'm not sure.
@Faiths_Guide I remember Spike Jester being played in quite a few aggro decks, but there were few red decks around then because Master of Waves came out after. And yours is just strictly better. Thanks anyway.
@KJMartin You're right that it would be strictly better (which is fine at that rarity) if it weren't for Legendary and it's associated rulings. "Strictly Better" is a term which needs a lot of thought. XD
Thanks again! Let me know which (if any) of my collection you decided to fave! This contest was lots of fun!
P.S. I find quite a few more art pieces for Scarecrows...

Pumpkin Jack is a fan of unique formats!
He likes mixing Commander and Planechase especially. Perhaps, add Monarchy to your game as well!Jack, Lord of Crows
