Of Noble Blood
"We are all pawns on the chessboard in the leaders' great game..."
=Lore=
When Marchesa fell from her throne - at the edge of a blade, naturally - the other aristocrats of Paliano were lost for what to do. After all, there was no-one to rule anymore. "The people are feral, volatile creatures," Lord Titus had said, "if they do not have a ruler who knows what they will do. But what kind of law system can keep them in check? The monarchy has failed..." Eventually, after a great many meetings and discussions, as well as the usual disposing of one's enemies, they settled on what to do. They would split Fiora, giving a series of Lords a section each. The only trouble with this system was, however, there was no-one to rule...
=The Contest=
Make a creature or planeswalker card that represents some kind of lord, baron or noble that could potentially rule over Paliano. it can be in any colour combination or rarity that you want. I would also like it if you can post some lore with it (although it's not essential).

- As many entries as you like.
- Up to three old entries, but the rest must be new.
- Please no off-topic chat.
- Use image linking*. It makes my judging easier.

^Technically, it's Lord William, but I still feel you stole something from me.
I thought I had seen Lord Cecil somewhere...
I don't feel like this is too similar to this weird "Lord contest" you must have made at some point tho. In your contest, you had to make a card suiting one of your factions or a political card, and it couldn't have something to do with magic and had to appear like a good guy...
Plus my contest doesn't have that - sorry - *DREADFUL* poetry at the start.
Just one thing - I will be very salty if you get more entries than me.

Yeah!
But the card doesn't really make sense. I like the last ability, but when do you lose life? When it enters the battlefield?
As with many of the outer-reigning Lords of Fiora, Karlor rose to power through blood and blades. While some leaders seek the affection of their populace, Karlor sought their fear. He deemed that only with an iron fist could Fiora be ruled, and so began his campaign of terror, cutting down any and all who stood in his path. Karlor desires nothing less than total tyranny over all of Fiora, and will stop at nothing to achieve this task.

Leahana is a duchess whom never saw the appeal of a noble's life. She never found lounging and being idle almost all day attractive or interesting in the slightest. She had a knack for combat, surpassing her brothers in melee combat classes, of which her father initially prevented her from taking part in. She eventually convinced him otherwise, and shone in training. Her father allowed her out of their house's gates to further hone her skills, but insisted she always have her bodyguards with her. Much to her disdain.

Traen is a Lord by blood, but he cares not of it. Choosing to support his troops at the Marble Fort against the undead hordes that would dare to take it, he remains there to keep them at bay. Some say he has a natural immunity to the effects of common undead, rumoured to be blessed by group of clerics not long after his birth. Traen declares its his hatred for them that allows him to power through, but that's just his line he tells the recruits.

There are those that use their noble status for good, and those that use it for their own personal gain. Mirrom is one of the latter, choosing to spend taxpayer's money on whores, feasts, cloth and entertainment. He has the tendency exaggerate during his public speeches about how the public has the wrong idea about him. He claims he is a noble, loving Lord whom only uses the money left over after he's done his Lordly duties. How they eat it up and forgive him each time.

Selfless, resilient, and powerful. Those are the words his subjects and his army use to describe the young, Prince Dorm. He is a man of few words, preferring to act rather than talk idly. That being said, he might as well be the best inspiring speech-giver in the kingdom, able to rile up his troops to states well surpassing their own will and dedication. He fights alongside his troops with a tactical and brutal edge, bringing his sword down upon those who threaten his kingdom or his people.
Don't mean to take up half the page, lol. Just got too into it. EDIT: Reworded Mirrom, Debaucherous Lord to make its effects clearer.

EDIT: Lore: Vasillias is a tyrant king with a god complex. He has a need to be powerful, a need to be king and to be dominant. He has to be revered and powerful, or there is no point in living (as shown by his last ability). He is arrogant and thinks himself invincible, that there is no way he could ever be harmed, let alone defeated. However, his oppression and abuse of his people is not overlooked. The people are sure to rise up in rebellion, and the leaders among them will not stop until he is dethroned. He believes he has nothing to fear from these pitiful peasants - but he is wrong. His hubris and vanity are his downfall (as shown in the other part of his last ability).
So here's my idea: Wiasho, Stealer of Faces is hidden behind the scenes. It's not really known, but has pawns that are some of the lords and ladies of Paliano. So it's orchestrated this whole thing, in which its puppets are the ones who are given the parts of Fiora, while Wiasho influences everything from behind the scenes, and, any political opponent has his/her face stolen, resulting in Wiasho maintaining control of the city. Wiasho's name is whispered a a god, but no one can verify nor deny its existence, and therefore, the city is held in check through both Wiasho's puppets and the citizen's fears that there is actually a god running the city when it's really just a huge spider.
Note: I may redo it to up mana cost and do some light rewording, but I want to know if this scenario would qualify Wiasho for the contest. If not, no worries and I'll think something up
When Selvalva was exploring the regions outside of Paliano, she found a great empire. This empire was devoid of the corruption that plagued Paliano. Selvalva met the empress, Krishanara, and told her all about Paliano and its ways. She was horrified at the way Paliano treated its citizens, but hid her feelings until after Selvalva left. She then started a great war effort to take over Paliano and cleanse it of its corruption. She has killed most of the nobles and restored a semblance of peace and goodness to Paliano.
