Another Goblin Guide!
Hi guys!
Welcome to the Another Goblin Guide! contest. I think that Goblin Guide is one of the most interesting cards in Magic, so how about more Goblin-Guide like cards?
Here are the rules:
1. No spamming
2. No rudeness or inappropriateness
3. The card must be a 1 mana 2/2 (doesn't need to have haste, though)
4. Old cards are allowed
5. No maximum entry number
6. Have fun!

Here is the judging:
1st place: Favorite of entry and 3 favorites of cards of your choice.
2nd place: Favorite of entry and 2 favorites of cards of your choice.
3rd place: Favorite of entry and 1 favorite of a card of your choice.
Honorable Mention (up to 3): Favorite of entry
The contest is open indefinitely, that is until I notify you one week in advance that the contest will be closing.

I tried to come up with something original. I hope you like it!
Made this one a while ago
CARD EDIT: both '1 life' abilities have been nerfed to '2 life'.
I thought to myself this is the moment for merfolk to rise up to tier one so i tried to think how to create a merfolk that like Goblin guide has a down side that really isn't a downside so he can't attack if you're opponent can somehow destroy their own land and you're deck has no spreading seas.
Tribute to aether revolt. He can help improvise and revolt decks
Second and last one for me. Feel like there is an infinite combo with this guy but oh well lol

This fist one I tried to balance and make into a decent constructed card and something that Wizards would feasibly print:
This second one is neither 1 CMC or a 2/2, technically, but totally is in practice. I tried something a little more experimental. I think it is more flavourful and more interesting. On CFB's Magic TV they listed Dismember as one of the cards in their Top 8 1 mana removal spells, so I think that this should totally count as a 1 mana 2/2. Also I just think the card is sweet:
