This'll make things like Conjurer's Closet and Deadeye Navigator stop breaking games. It'll make Eldrazi Displacer busted in a totally different way. Flip walkers won't flip, Brago won't flicker, and suspend will be out the window.
This is the "other" version of Graffdigger's Cage.
I have some ideas that we can enjoy this challenge more!
Scholarly by @Sorins_Thirst You can look at the bottom of your library! What do you want to do if the bottom card of your library is the card that you really want?
Tribal Advantage by @Latinas Maybe we can use tribal synergy more on a single card. Producing token, bouncing itself,,
Charge by @dudedaniel It goes very well with flash, haste, morph, or evasion abilities. It seems like a direct damage, but you can spin the color wheel a little bit as long as the flavor explains it. I don't remember the name, but there's a white card that has this effect.
Ward by @Connor2001 If you use it like; Ward 1 on 1/2 creature, it's just like a protection. How about Ward 3 on 2/2?
Painborn by @Animist You can use -1/-1 counters in many ways! But be careful of balancing. Flexibility is the strong point on this one. Think like this: {n}{mana cost} painborn card has N+1 options. Card with multiple options is always good.
Landmorph by @DeepSky Be careful of balancing. It can't be countered if you play it as a land. And you can also use {c} produced by this land to flip this card. Also you can flip it when you are a defending player!
And you can use multiple mechanics on single card! I found some interesting ideas!
Those are some very interesting ideas. I have been meaning to make a Tribal Advantage card in a similar fashion to what you suggested, but I have not found any art I like yet.
I am quite surprised how few landmorphs there are. Seems like a cool mechanic... Maybe I can make something cool out of that...
Now here is a card for a Draw-go style control deck. Very good in the mirror ( since it's Cancel that can't be countered), and even though it requires you to essentially sack a land to cast it, you can Morphkicker it to get a 4/4 creature out of the deal! Now, let's break it. In response to the turn face up trigger, you can Cloudshift the Golem. It will temporarily leave the battlefield. Since the "Counter Target Spell" trigger will still be on the stack, the spell will be countered and the golem will stay alive since it is technically a different entity than what would have been sacrificed. That only costs 1WUU!

Changed the wording slightly to allow for more flexibility.
I chose Scholarly. But I changed the name of the ability, slightly. It sounds better after wording the text. Otherwise I can switch it back.
Yeah, I'll have to remake it with proper italics and a link.
Demon with painborn.

I had to make it. The effect is too perfect not to be used on a changeling.

That's cool!
@sanjaya666
As far as I know, enchantment is also a spell. You don't need to fix the card. Just for your future creation.
Very cool entries @everyone!
Any nonland card is considered a spell. (Tokens can't be spells, as they aren't cards!)
Here are some examples of rare instances that aren't spells, yet have spell types! (Reference Page)
Darksteel Citadel
Dryad Arbor
Seat of Synod
You're right. Not gonna fix it. I'm gonna delete it.
@modnation675
Hmm, so everything on the stack is spell right?
Yes, everything on the stack is a spell. This includes copies of spells as well!
Lands aren't spells, as they are played as a separate action than casting or playing spells.
This challenge ends in a few days!

Just my thoughts. I hope these inspire you!
