Poetic Flavor Contest
Hello fellow cardsmiths!
It's your friendly geek here with a contest!
In this contest, you are to create any card of any card type in magic, but it must have flavor text that you design completely, and it must be a poem or haiku or anything like that.
Requirements
- Custom flavor text
- Must have around 17+ words (I will make exceptions if requested)
- Card must be simple
- Flavor must be poetic
Deadline:
March 10

Not 17 words...
Definitely not my best poetry...Made it up on the spot when I came to the flavour text.

Here we go
@Rubieus You were the only person who created a haiku! It was simple, yet said so much in those few words. It portrays the character well and how he started weak and grew from his hatred. The colors were pretty off color though :P
@Faiths_Guide Your three pieces of poetry and creative card design show that you have some impressive abilities. The flow of the flavor text connects each sentence smoothly and it showed a good story that could I could imagine of someone read it to me blindfolded. The design of the card is also quite strong.
@nsm91 The flavor text alone is so powerful and well-written that I could judge it without seeing the card. The card however, relates to the flavor text immensly and so does the title. The card's text does the same thing that the title and flavor text say.
@Death_Methods The art choice and theme is great and I can imagine the flavor text being a song in a disney movie. It has a nice beat to it that makes it enjoyable to read. About the card itself, the simplicity of the text makes playing it a simple task and it won't override your mind with thoughts on how it works.
@KJMartin The card is an interesting trick that can annoy your opponents which is a good thing. The flavor text makes me think of Jund/Gruul and takes us back to both of those times in Ravnica and Alara at the same time.
@Jonah22 The art choice was great and I thought that the name was creative because you don't see the Oni very often. Though there are some technical problems in color/text the card all around was really cool.
@Connor2001 The card is well designed and the flavor shows off the evil conspiracy these knights of the sunken throne are there to follow through with. The darkness syncs with the abilities and how it aims to hunt down the ones who come asking for trouble.
@Credius Though there are some technical problems on the card, the flavor makes up for it. It is fun to read and it brings excitement to the playing table when you play it. I love how the words are ordered to make the reader read it a certain way.
