I think that's too extreme. Which is why we recommended a handicap for newcomers to the challenge!
But TrippleBoggey3 has already commented on that perspective.
Yeah, those who in the top 10 shouldn't enter or make their entries invalid for many seasons until their positions aren't in the top 10 anymore.
That sounds illogical and artificially forceful!
If you want your cards to get more attention, the following is the best way in general.
Post your cards here, see what others think (or Recent)
Fine. That thread also has almost no effect since people just ignored most all the cards there. Whatever. Not in desperate of likes, just showing that 'hey, I can make good and original cards too', which those are also would be soon forgotten and nobody actually cares about it.
Seems like you need to enter some of the more popular contests as it takes time to get a following.
Winning follows from people also helps a lot as it consistently gets you viewership. Other than that, the polish of your cards matters a lot. Not that such is an issue for you, as you've got a lot of good use out of premium just as we do! (Also try not to delete as many of your comments.)

Aside from that, make sure to post in all the following to be noticed!
1) Best Designed and Favorite Custom Card?
2) Circuit and Re-Activation challenges/contests.

Nonetheless I'm enjoying this, because even bad attention is attention and can be used to promote other cards xD

If there's another season after this one, I think we should do the following in it!
Change the grading scale from
1st - 5 Points
2nd - 4 Points
3rd - 3 Points
4th - 2 Points
5th - 1 Point
...to the following! (To increase the tendency of players having points later in the season.)
1st - 5 Points
2nd - 4 Points
3rd - 3 Points
4th - 2 Points
5th - 2 Points
6th - 1 Point
7th - 1 Point
I felt I should take this time to promote a simple but cool contest with one of our recently made cards!
