Some issues with W10 Tablet Support

I do almost all of my MtG custom cards on my tablet. But the Planeswalker maker has been a bane to try to work with in general. The biggest issue being that it asks for me to "Click and Drag" to crop....

If anyone has used Windows 10 on a tablet or in tablet mode without the assist of a mouse they would know that Click and Drag is not an option. To explain further, I spent 2 hours, trying to go in and out of tablet mode on my tablet, messing around with mouse settings, and trying all of these other crazy ideas, but with no success of being able to have the simple luxury of click and drag. Instead I am raging at my tablet because if I dare try to drag my finger or stylus across the screen it scrolls vertically or horizontally respectively... instead of just clicking and dragging LIKE I WANT TO.

I've tried both IE and Edge (my preferred browser on this tablet) and the results are identical for both. I would just like to know if there is plans for improved tablet support on the Planeswalker maker in a future update so I don't have to go buy myself a new stylus after breaking it from frustration.

In the mean time, anyone have suggestions or workarounds?

You may want to ask our squirrel god.
  • @Mellenius - There ARE plans for improved Planeswalkers, and input like this is very important to help identify issues that exist so they can (hopefully) be addressed!

As for suggestions... either write down your planeswalker ideas and make them later, or get a library card.

  • I have this same problem. (Which is why I've never made a planeswalker, even though I've made some 400 cards.)
  • Hey guys, you are correct that the planeswalker editor is not mobile friendly yet, we will be resolving that with version 2 which is currently in the works. This is also the reason planeswalker editor is not part of the mobile/tablet navigation currently. We apologize for the inconvenience! After the M15 editor update - the planeswalker editor is now the oldest card editor on the site and in definite need of our (current) attention.
