Judging coming soon! Expect the results tomorrow. Entries are still acceptable up until the moment final results are posted. Let me know if any entry is changed or edited because I'm starting to gather the best ones.
1st: https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/tempting-whispers A very important story in the Bible for two reasons. 1: It shows that God relates to our temptation because He Himself was tempted. 2: It shows us how we should deal with different categories of temptation. I'm trying to think how this card would work mechanically in the game. Seems like it would be best to cast on yourself? (or perhaps I'm falling to the temptation! ;D) Good Entry! ^^
2nd: https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/crematorium-of-lost-souls-1?list=user I wouldn't say this one directly relates to the Bible, as the other entries do, but rather takes a particular issue and expounds upon one (maybe Biblical?) interpretation of it. Really awesome card!! I'd love to play it in an actual game.
@Odogom Thanks and I agree! I may continue this, but if I do, it will be in the just-for-fun contests. I've gone and favorited two of your cards for the reward for winning.
@modnation675 Thank you for participating in the contest even though you're not super familiar with the Bible. That's what I hoped for more of in this contest since I didn't expect many to have any sort of vast knowledge of it. This sort of thing has a very small target audience since it requires individuals who have read the Bible enough to remember what's in it AND that love magic the gathering enough to make cards on this site. I was hoping a few more people would be willing to try something like you did. (no biggy though since I didn't really expect it to happen).
I too thoroughly enjoy conversations about moral quandaries. ^^

Obviously based off of Jesus's temptation for 40 days in the desert:

Ooh! Brick counters!! Someone should make a contest for that.
Winners, please send me your requests for cards to favorite. Thanks to all for entering!
@Death_Methods This contest was serious kinds of awesome. I swear we should have a season 2, there is much many ideas yet untapped.
