@modnation675 I'm just wondering what Ruvell does for you. I get how it works, but why would you run a deck with it? You can't even use it to run 4C Zada or anything, since you can't consistently get Zada (or any legendary) in your opening hand. Is there something I'm missing?
@modnation675 He'll easily break the rules of commander if he grabs a Legendary Creature that isn't both Blue and Black. Your deck may end up containing cards with illegal color identities.
@Faiths_Guide That's false. I checked and found out color identity is determined before the game and can't be changed during the game, as mentioned earlier.
Edit: Your second statement is irrelevant as that isn't considered an argument for MTG card design. Rules are consistently broken for unique game-play opportunities.
Honorable Mention: Lumir, the Wind's Whistle, by @Cybernekit. To be honest, this card would have won 1st place. It has fantastic flavor, relevant abilities, and wonderful art. But that is precisely the problem. The reason it didn't get first place.
It doesn't list the artist.
Think my judgement is nitpicky? Not really, especially when MTGCardsmith itself asks you politely to take the few keystrokes to list the artist. Does the site where you got the art not list the artist for some reason? It only took me fifteen seconds to look up the art on the internet, after searching 'Bird Woman Wizard art' (The artist is Sandara). It doesn't take you that long. And it really does matter. It just meant the difference of winning this contest and being scolded by a weirdo Izzet Mage.
As an artist myself, listing the artist of my custom cards is just as important as listing the card type or the power and toughness. Please take the time to correctly credit the artist. They put a lot of effort into creating their art like you do with creating your cards. Because, as @Corwinnn once quoted a long long time ago, "Without [artists] making their art available on the sites we use, we would see a lot of stick figure dragons on our cards."
1st Place: Neferet, Vizier of Decay, by @sanjaya666! I dearly hope your opponents have an efficient kill spell, because this zombie general is going to wreck face! Wonderful design and excellent flavor. Congratulations!
Thanks to all who entered this contest and excellent work, winners! Message me with what you would like to be favorited.
I made a card and wondered the following "If only Commander had sideboards?". Anyways, I think it's a funny take on Praetor's Grasp. It might get some heads rolling for future topics.

"At the beginning of your first upkeep," --> "At the beginning of your upkeep,"
Edit: Already made the change.

It's just a really strong commander. That's also why I'm considering buffing it by changing the trigger as mentioned. (Already done!)
If it were consistent, it would be fundamentally broken.

Inapplicable comment?
Also, that's true of commanders themselves. Predetermined and not meant to be changed.

Edit: Ruvell is now practically the trickster god. XD
I'll opt out of further discussion on this one XD
Sorry to hear that! I assume you're on the mend or over it entirely?

Thanks for hosting the contest @Gelectrode. It was fun, and it brought out some real creativity in the designers. Cheers!
Wow, many thanks mate. Just like the cards that you think not broken or just crappy since I've made some crappy stuffs lately.
