It used the old "put [blanks] onto the battlefield" phraseology and forgot to specify "artifact creature".

I think I know the feeling of that.

It can do a lot of desecration to you and to your opponent due to it's power/cost as well as its Trample and Haste.
I know that it should be demon and not a succubus, but i felt like it was more flavourful this way.
