Mechanics Challenge
Cool idea for an ongoing challenge. I will give you a word, than you will take that word or a similar word and make a mechanic out of it. Make up the effect and then make a card with the mechanic. I will judge all those cards with the mechanic and divvy out points accordingly. After the first round is over, I will put out a new word and start a new round. At the end of this contest, the person with the most points will get prizes.
Round Rewards:
1rst place: 3 points
2nd place: 2 points
3rd place: 1 point
Contest rewards:
1st place: 5 favorites
2nd place: 3 favorites
3rd place: 1 favorite
First word: Possess

I thought you already asked @KJMartin to do that one. Keep in mind people don't like to re-use names!
I'd also suggest posting 2 or 3 words to start. It helps in case one is disliked by most.
May we do metaphorical/connotation synonyms or just literal synonyms?
