I am a complete music nerd, so I'll just list some of my favourite albums.
The Powers That B - Death Grips Madvillian - Madvilliany Ondatropica - Ondatropica Benji - Sun Kil Moon The Money Store - Death Grips Atrocity Exhibition - Danny Brown ...Like Clockwork - Queens of the Stone Age Bags and Trane - John Coltrane and Milt Jackson Unsilent Death - Nails Suicide Euphoria - Pissgrave To Pimp a Butterfly - Kendrick Lamar Saturation - Brockhampton The Knight's Gambit - Ka Flower Boy - Tyler the Creator (Probably the best hip hop album of the year so far in my opinion.) The OF Tapes Vol. 3 - Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All All Mod Cons - The Jam London Calling - The Clash Led Zeppelin IV - Led Zeppelin Exmilitary - Death Grips Sound Effects - The Jam Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band - The Beatles Trout Mask Replica - Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band So It Goes - RATKING RINA - Rina Sawayama New Day Rising - Husker Du Time Out - Dave Brubeck good kid, mAAd city - Kendrick Lamar In Utero - Nirvarna
As you can tell, I have a pretty wide taste in music, everything from 30 second snippets of pure rage, like Nails and Pissgrave, as well as cool jazz like Dave Brubeck.
Of course this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of my tastes, but it would take hours to list all the music I like.
@KJMartin Interesting choices, we'll have to check out some of them this evening. We listen to a wide range of music as well. Well, other than new age rap. XD
Music I listen to varies greatly, but some of my favorite artists right now are bluesy/country...

@Lujikul I have a lot of ideas. But it seems our tastes differ from most, which is why we need the help.
If you change your mind later, we'd like to hear your recommendations. (Although, this is just the base list for those not wanting to search for a song.)
@Everyone Contest Announcement: Hello everyone, just making sure this is good for the final list. You can still enter up to three cards on any songs of your choice though in addition.
I've been checking about getting some very special prizes setup for the first week of the Loop That contest. All I can say, is that everyone should be prepared for some Unstable action.

To be fair, most of my favorite stuff is film scores and classic (or semi-classic) Christmas music.
As such, I'd love to see any recommendations you have for the following. That way the list is as best as possible.
Tracks: (Make sure to select songs that have lyrics.)
1) Rock; Modest Mouse - Float On
2) Electronic; Klaypex - Lights
3) Metal; Leo Moracchioli - Heathens (Cover)
4) Classical; Compilation - Where Is My Mind (Instrumental)
5) Rap; JT Music - Bleeding Secrets
6) Parody; "Weird Al" Yankovic - Foil
7) Recommended; Nightwish - She Is My Sin
Especially as cards can be made before the contest this time around.
