I was really pleased will all of your entries. I never expected the contest to grow this big, and I am amazed at all the cards you guys have made. It was tough choosing the winners, but since there is a deadline, here they are!
Honorable Mentions:
Puresteel Monolith by @ASubtleGhost This is the fortification that caught my eye the most. It would fit right in any Izzet deck, and really packs a punch. It does seem a little too powerful though considering it can recycle cantrips and bypasses resolution requirements on spells like Stop Time and the Beacons.
Inordinate Exploitation by @koover This card is pure black. Combine it with something like Sanguine Bond and a Damnation and you pretty much win the game, though it is a bit expensive.
Wayward Friar by @Gelectrode This card is one of the more interesting ones. There are lots of powerful commons out there, and fetching them with this guy allows for a lot of flexibility. However I feel that this kind of card would be mostly restricted to the "Un-" sets as rarity varies between sets.
And now for the top three!
3rd Place: Celestial Shine by @TenebrisNemo This card is bursting with possibilities. While it probably wouldnt see that much play in Standard, this would be a perfect addition to a voltron EDH deck.
2nd Place: Lilibeth, Abandoned by God by @TenebrisNemo Another flavorful card. With a good body and an even better Grandeur ability, this is a must have in any Orzhov deck. Bonus points for flavor!
1st Place: Larksmith, the Mind's Horizon by @Beeswax This card is pure mindgames. You can combine this with scry effects beforehand to create a powerful guessing game. Except that either way, your opponent loses. Excellent job!
As I said before, i am very pleased with everyone's entries. You guys really brought these mechanics back to life and fulfilled R&D's predictions. All winners will be added to the HALL OF FAME. Thank you all for participating!

Judging should be finished by the 21st at the latest, but will probably be much sooner.
