I made it only have one Phyrexian mana, and added blue for balancing reasons, made it an Illusion, and the targeting sacrifice power, and I made it so that it only creates 4 skeletons if you paid life. Instead of being a */* it is a 1/1 infect that gets +1/+1 for each Skeleton you control.
You could make it that you still can only activate the artifacts ability once per turn but it doesn't make it tap. still good for Artifact creature and less broken Just a suggestion @urtar370
I remade this one https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/magnetism-weaver-1?list=set&set=24455. I made it so that you have to tap to allow your artifact creature to not tap, and you can only do it for each creature once a turn, and then you can pay [2] to untap it. I made it a 2/3 instead of a 1/2, because otherwise it would be pretty awful. I also put it in Kaladesh because of the artifacts. I just realized I forgot the Metalcraft power. Oh well.
Just a reminder, Phyrexian mana isn't NECESSARILY bad. Obviously, you have to balance around it, but certain instants/sorceries that are acceptable at colorless, and colored artifacts that are flavored from Phyrexia are ok.

That card in particular has a very simple but very broken ability. I'm not sure how to fix it.

That's one of the rules on WMTGCS--no cards made intentionally bad.
