Can your cards be deleted if you become inactive?
Hello everyone,
I would first like to apologize if my question has already been answered somewhere else, but i am not finding an answer for my problem. I have been inactive for about a year due to school and other life stuff, but now that i have time again, I came back to this site to continue having fun and making cards. When I viewed my account, I saw that all my sets that I had made, and the card names were still there, but when i go to view my cards, it says that I have not made any. None of them broke any rules that I know of (they did not have sexual content or overly gory artwork, and no foul language was used.) Would it be possible to get my created cards back?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I think (very sadly) it isn't possible to get your cards back. MTGCardsmith, out of necessity, performs a site-wide purge periodically to free space being "wasted" by inactive accounts. One such purge happened recently.
Of course, the internet retains images. You could re-create them using the images as reference:

There's a heads-up. It's somewhat annual to my knowledge, but if you've done anything recently the purge won't affect you.

The Purge, as it's (not) affectionately known, happens roughly every six months, or when we start to run low on server space. It doesn't affect your cards if you have been active within six months of The Purge.
Once the cards have been "purged" there is no other way to get them back aside from recreating them from memory or using @Faith_Guide's trick (or having saved a back-up copy on your computer that you can look at)
There is always a heads up before every purge and all you need to do is log on to your account to keep your cards safe. You don't even need to make a card, just log in every six months!
The other way to keep your cards safe is to become a premium subscriber, but that's for those who can afford to donate, and not required to avoid The Purge and enjoy MTGCardsmith!
