How do you all print cards?

Is there a good way to print cards? When I download them, my computer saves them as a picture and then when I print my printer defaults to one card a page and it's the wrong size. If I were to print 300 cards I don't want to use 300 pages lol. I would think I could print 12 per page or so. I there a way to do that?
