I have thought of a possible set that would include the demon Sern and other residents of Sernpit.

Sernpit is a bloody, demonic plane of devils and hell-beasts. The few humans and elves have been reduced to small scattered cities, the foremost being Vaza, the City of Champions. But with few champions left, even Vaza is infiltrated by the hellish demons.

Above the edge of the giant cavern of Sernpit (the plane's namesake) is a prosperous human nation-at first glance. Most humans above are slaves to the devil Widgregk the Unsatiable. A journey there would be foolish and suicidal. So for most good creatures, the hellish Pit is the only house of refuge.
