Unreleased mechanics contest
WotC releases new mechanics with every set. Some of them are tested, but don't make it on real cards. I chose two of them for this contest, 'cause I believe, they should appear.
The first one is glorify. Here's the link for you, to look up, what it should do: https://mtg.gamepedia.com/Glorify
The second one is reckless, also with a link to look it up: https://mtg.gamepedia.com/Reckless
Here are some examples, I made for you:
As always, the to three entries may choose prices:
1st one may choose 5 favorites or 3 favorites and a follow.
2nd one may choose 4 favorites or 2 favorites and a follow.
3rd one may choose 3 favorites or a follow.
Honorable mentions may choose a favorite.
As always, I'll favorite every enty to honor your work and creativeness.
I'll start judging around 19th of august and name the winners shortly after. Let the games begin and enjoy this contest!

F*dge, that example of Reckless is OP as can be.
Also, the glorify mechanic in this case does generally nothing as it doesn't have first strike. (Combat damage is simultaneous!)
Compare that to burn spells for damage output and you'll notice it's overpowered. (Even the creature ones!)
Damage is dealt simultaneously, so all the creatures die, then you give trample. Unless it has first strike, it makes no sense at all.
The example on that page makes no sense either. As such, you need better references.
Choose to cross reference. Obviously that article doesn't accurately represent the rest of their work.
Here's what Marc Rosewater wrote about this mechanic: 'Exalted led us to "advanced exalted," where we were granting things other than +1/+1, mostly creature keywords. Playtesting showed that the -1/-1 counter environment was making players less likely to attack, so we wanted to push even more toward aggression. This led us to try a variant of exalted where a creature with the ability granted a creature keyword to target attacking creature. It no longer required the creature to be attacking alone, but the creature granted the ability had to be attacking as well (and yes, it could choose itself). We then shifted from an attack trigger to a death trigger that only worked if the creature died while attacking. We called the ability "glorify." We liked that it encouraged aggressiveness, but the gameplay wasn't quite what we wanted.'

I'm aware as I already scoured the article.
Nothing states that it temporarily granted the effect. The reference you used assumed it was temporary whereas it would've been a permanent effect.
Notice that the WotC article never wrote the ability in definite terms. (As such, the person who wrote that wiki page didn't proofread!)
Edit: I revised the wiki page to be more accurate. (Note that the Reckless ability was able to be used infinitely as well. Which isn't appropriate!)
Edit: Nvm, close the thread.
@modnation675 maybe lighten up a little bit...?
I did say I wanted to fix the mechanic and restart the thread as the edited comment had stated. But I removed it since Mila said to close the thread before I refreshed to see their comment.
It wasn't our intention to be negative aside from stating the source material didn't accurately reference the mechanic. Thus resulting in exploits such as infinite stats. None of which is due to Mila's contest idea.
